Aldo Festante close to the podium at Adria: 4° position in Race 2

ADRIA – The second event of the Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth has seen Aldo Festante to report an outstanding 4th place in Race2, which balances the unfortunate results in Race 1 and Race 3.

As so the Italian native managed to add important points to the overall standings, signing his career’s best absolute result at the Adria International Raceway. Started from the 5th place on the grid in Race 2, after a wonderful battle with championship leader Sebastian Fernandez, Aldo managed to end up in 4th place – just one step far from the podium. On Saturday, despite a majestic performance on wet track, an electrical issue deprived Aldo of a 6th place two laps far from the checkered flag, while a contact in the earliest stages of Race 3 with the Indian driver Kush Maini relegated Festante in the 12th position, who was not able so to replicate the good performances showed during the week end.

“The technical problem in Race 1 and the collision in Race 3 have made this weekend a troubled one. It remains a great satisfaction of a 4th place in Race2, we have showed to be competitive and we are sure we will do it again at Vallelunga”.

Next event will be at Pau on the 20th and 21st of May, for the third race weekend of the French F4 Championship. Next event of the Italian F4 Championship will be at Vallelunga on the 25th of June.
